Synopsis

 

‘The Girlfriend Experience’ follows Jess, an independent escort, addicted to the escapism of her work. Jessica’s loose grip on reality peppers her world with musical fantasies.  When a new client comes into her life, asking Jess to take on the role of his recently deceased wife, they both fall head first into the fantasy.

The Film was awarded 'Best Director' at Pause Film Festival by acclaimed filmmaker Francis Lee and was officially selected for BAFTA recognised festival Aesthetica. Most recently it was nominated for Best Cinematography at The Royal Television Society  North West Student awards and won Best Drama.
